Our Departments

Our teams are the most committed and capable. They are qualified with utmost degrees of professionalism and personal calibre, which translate into innovative and cost-effective solutions. There is constant training and personnel development ongoing at PSD.

Each of PSD’s four departments is a vital element of the software development lifecycle:

Software Engineering Department

Developing professional, state-of-the-art, real-time software applications to be used within the international CAE market is the department’s main responsibility. We produce our software according to standard software engineering principles: starting with gathering the user requirements, and passing through the analysis, design, implementation and testing phases of the development life-cycle.

Our software is implemented using professional software development techniques and methodologies. The tools we use to achieve our objectives include: Visual Studio.NET, Visual C++, Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, Delphi, and the Borland C++ Builder.

The department consists of Team Leaders, Senior and Junior Software and Database Engineers managed by highly qualified Project Managers.

Quality Assurance Department

The ultimate objective of the Quality Assurance department is to ensure that PSD products and services are of technical excellence and high level quality. To achieve this we implement, maintain and enhance PSD’s standards, processes, procedures, development and test plans. This process includes scripting of automated tests, design and implementation reviews.

The department consists of Software Testing Engineers, Quality Reviewers and Quality Auditors.

Hardware Department

The Test Team thoroughly tests our products and ensures that they are matching their specifications.

Using these products, the Application Team provides turnkey test solutions to our customers including:

CAD conversion, design for testability checks and consultations
Fixture design and production according to customer requirements
Device modeling and test program generation
Fixture verification, debugging, and on-site installation
Test program migration and conversion from GR, HP and Teradyne
The team also provides feedback on our products design.

The department consists of Test and Application teams of Electronics Engineers.

Documentation Department

The department’s main task is to compose different types of technical documentation. Providing the user with a concise, comprehensive, and contemporary help system for each of our software products is the aim. Thus, on-line helps, step-by-step guides, trouble-shooters, tutorials, technical manuals, and user guides are developed. The technical documentation fulfils the needs of both novice and experienced users.
